The governor made the promise while flagging off construction work on Origbo-Imande-Akpu-Gbajimba road as well as mobile barracks-Adeke-Welfare quarters-Yaiko-Apir road recently.
While Gbajimba road has over 40kms in its first phase, the second phase that connects Gbajimba-Iordye-Awe in Nasarawa state has a distance of 32kms with 24 months completion date.
Mobile barracks road on the other hand covers a distance of 24kms with 18 months completion date.
The contract sum of Gbajimba road is N4.8bn while the Mobile barracks road is over N3bn.
The governor said having been “settled by God long time ago” he has come to render “selfless service” to the people.
He, therefore, revealed that he demanded no kickback from the contractors.
He warned the contractors, Tongyi New International Ltd and Triacta to not only deliver the works on schedule but ensure they were carried out according to specifications as spelt out in the bills of quantity.
