Confusion in Benue APC as 2 candidates emerge for Gwer Federal poll

There is a serious confusion in the Benue chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, as names of two candidates have been released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the 2023 Gwer Federal Constituency election.

The first name that emerged haven filled the INEC Nomination Form was Engr. Terhemba Nongo who is believed to be enjoying the support of the leader of the party in the state, Senator George Akume.

Also, the name of Arc. Asema Achado emerged as the APC candidate for the same Gwer Federal Constituency election. Achado was reported to be enjoying the support of the Abuja cabals of the party.

According to reports, Achado was declared winner of the Gwer Federal Constituency primaries of the All Progressive Congress few weeks ago but Senator replaced his name with that of his preferred choice, Terhemba Nongo.
