2023: Adedipe meets Ondo delegates, says he is the most qualified, gets massive support

Frontline aspirant for Ondo Central Senatorial Zone under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, Basorun Ifedayo Adedipe SAN, yesterday met with principal Excos of the party in Ondo, stating that he is the most qualified for the job.

In his speech, the legal luminary warned them not to let anyone scare them of his knowledge about politics, stressing that there is no school for politics. He added that he has a higher understanding of politics as a result of his level of education and exposure.

He assured them of quality representation if elected, noting that the Senate shouldn’t be a place to make money but a place for every senator to fight for the right of his people.

Adedipe stated that the current senator of the zone has failed them in the area of development. He wondered why he failed to challenge Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to make known the whereabout of students shuttle buses.

Adedipe also wondered why the senator has failed his people by not challenging the governor on why he is using hardship to repay the people of the state back after they elected him governor.

The aspirant further said that the inability of the current senator to put Akeredolu on his toes is one of the reasons Ondo state isn’t developed.

Basorun Adedipe however promised to represent the zone creditably well if elected. He charged the delegates to consider his credibility because he’s not going to fail them.

He applauded former Governor Fayose on stomach infrastructure, and promised that he will ensure efficient stomach infrastructure during his reigns as senator.

In the area of accessibility, Adedipe promised to always make himself available for the people at all time if they use their votes to send him to the Senate.

He urged them not to be deceived by the current senator who is everywhere begging for votes to return to the Senate for another term.

Also speaking, a leader of PDP in Ondo state, Hon. Tony Ala, said that Barrister Adedipe’s ambition has brought unity to Akure politics.

According to Hon. Ala, the legal luminary is the best choice that PDP has to represent Ondo Central Senatorial Zone at the Senate in 2023.

Ala promised that Adedipe will perform creditably well if given the chance.

In his speech, Hon. Akinwande appreciated the visit by Adedipe, stressing that the people he came to meet would consider him deeply in the primaries.

Also speaking, Hon. Osuolale who claimed he knows Basorun very well,
said that he was sure that the asoirat won’t fail them by making himself available at all times.

He added that with the little time he has been relating with the aspirant, he has concluded that he is the best to give credible representation to Ondo Central Senatorial Zone.

Dr Felix Olayemi in his speech claimed he has known Adedipe for over 30 year and said that he won’t fail the people of the zone as a result of his pedigree.

Mrs Betiku in her speech showered prayers of success on Adedipe whom she claimed she knows very well as a man with the love of his people. She said the aspirant will not fail them as a result of how he has been helping the people of Ondo state even outside political office.
She urged Adedipe not to forget to make woman empowerment his top priority when he gets to the Senate.

Reacting, Hon. Adedapo Adesemoye said Basorun Ifedayo Adedipe is the best and most qualified among all the Senatorial aspirants that have been coming to meet them for votes. Lauding the quality presentation of the legal luminary while delivering his speech, Adesemoye prayed for success for him at the primaries.

In his speech, Hon. Ojikutu hailed Adedipe’s generosity and applauded the bags for rice as well as many cows that he had used to support all Ondo town activities in the past. He said he was overwhelmed by his speech and described him as the best that has come to them so far.

Also speaking, Hon. Rasheed thanked the aspirant and assured him that he will get massive votes from delegates from Ondo since Chief Segun Adegoke, the man they regard as their leader, has directed them to give him full support.
