Jegede gets massive supports in Ore, Odigbo, Ajue, Omifon, promises food security, moderate tuition fees, affordable health care, roads, empowerment

Governorship candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming October 10 governorship election in Ondo state, Barrister Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, yesterday got massive supports from the people of Ore, Odigbo, Ajue, Omifon during his campaign tours.

During campaigns to the areas, Barrister Jegede promised to ensure food security by providing massive supports to agriculture and farmers in the state.

Saying that farmers in Ondo state need a helping hand From the government, the PDP candidate said that he will provide soft loans to farmers in order to boost their job.

How however dismissed political propaganda by the ruling party that he would seize lands from farmers when he becomes governor, saying that rather than taking lands from farmers, his administration will help them to clear their lands and as well provide crops for them to plant.

Also, Jegede expressed his displeasure to the high tuition fees of tertiary Institutions in the state under the present government of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, promising to reduce all tuition fees within a month of his own administration.

On health, the candidate berated the present government for making pregnant women to pay through their noses before they can get medical attention in government hospitals. He added that he will ensure affordable health care services when he becomes governor of Ondo state.

He also promised to provide good roads for the people of the areas and the entire Ondo state if he is elected as governor on October 10 this year.

Jegede said that a reasonable government will not leave its subjects with the kind of bad roads in Ore, Omifon, Ajue, Odigbo and others. He promised that he will look into this as a matter of urgency.

He also promised adequate empowerment for women and youths in the areas and beyond, saying that Ondo state women and youths need a government that can make their empowerment a top priority.

Furthermore, the candidate urged the people of the areas to come out in their thousands to vote for him on the election day without any fear that any political thug is coming to attack them.

In their separate remarks, the monarch and people of Ajue, Odigbo, Ore, Shasha and others, welcomed the campaign train, urging them to be of good conduct throughout the campaigns periods.

They promised their total support to the candidate , saying that Ondo state needs a change and a good leader who will always have their interest in his heart.

They urged the PDP candidate to do his home work very well and leave the rest to God to perfect. They prayed for success for the candidate just as they assured him that the will of God will be done in his life.

Saying that they hoped that the election will be better than the one that was held in 2016, the monarchs and people of the areas urged Barrister Jegede not to neglect them when he gets to power
