Nigerian Concord can authoritatively report that the deputy governor of Ondo state, Alfred Agboola Ajayi, will tomorrow,Sunday, declare for PDP at his Kiribo Ward in order for him to seek for the party’s ticket to contest the October 10 governorship election in the state.

While the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde, is still being rumored as one of those quitting the APC, about twelve members of the State House of Assembly are said to have told their supporters about their firm plan to join PDP alongside the embattled deputy governor.

Also decamping with the deputy governor are Prince Solagbade Amodeni and Honourable Taofeek Abdusalam who are both former commissioners in the Governor Rotimi Akeredolu-led government.

Hon. Akin Aibinuomo, a former chairman of Akoko South East local government and close political associate to Akeredolu is also leaving the APC for PDP as a result of what his associates described as ‘betrayal’ on the part of the governor.

Nigerian Concord also gathered that Akinfolarin Ayo, Hon Olugbenga Araoyinbo and several others are also going to PDP with the deputy governor.

Meanwhile, an official declaration for PDP by Agboola is slated for tomorrow,Sunday, at his Kiribo Ward while he and his teaming supporters will officially decamp at the PDP state secretariat in Akure on Monday.
