The Benue State Commissioner of Education, Prof. Dennis Ityavyar, has cautioned the Principals of schools in the State and the general public not to succumb to pressure by any individual or group using his name to bid for any fumigation contract.
Ityavyar made this known today in a press statement signed by his media assistant, Alabar Tersoo.
The Commissioner also warned those using his name to seek for favour or cajole principals of schools into doing their bidding to desist from such act immediately.
He noted that the Ministry has a way of communicating to heads of schools by way of communique, hence will not pass through a third party to communicate messages.
Ityavyar stated further that he did not send anyone to lobby for school fumigation job, stressing that principals dealing with such people do so at their own risk.
