Suswam leads NASS delegation to Abu Dhabi’s World Future Energy Summit

Distinguished Senator representing Benue North East who doubles as the Chairman, Senate committee on power,Senator Dr. Gabriel Torwua Suswam, is currently participating in the 2020 World Future Energy Summit holding in Abu Dhabi.

Senator Gabriel Suswam led the National Assembly team to the summit where he made a presentation yesterday on the Nigeria Energy Industry.

The 13th edition of the World Future Energy Summit was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi on January 13, 2020 by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The four-day summit is expected to see nearly 33,500 visitors. It will conclude on January 16, a statement by Suswam’s aide, Michael Tivlumun Zendesha, said.

As a part of the event, the Climate Innovations Exchange (CLIX) and the Future Sustainability Summit will also be conducted.

The Future Sustainability Summit is being held under the theme “Rethinking Global Consumption, Production, and Investment.”
