Abbo urges FRSC to step up fights against accidents

Senator representing Adamawa North, Senator Ishaku Abbo, has called on the Federal Road Safety Corps to put in more efforts on tackling the rate of accidents in the country.
Senator Abbo in a media note sent to journalists by his media office yesterday stated that Adamawa state as well as other states in the country had suffered so much cases of accident within the festive period.
His words: “Accidents which have claimed the lives of so many people are because of lack of proper check on drivers by Road Safety corps. Most drivers are over speeding and also under the influence of different substance which make them drive recklessly”
Senator Abbo also called on FRSC to brace up and take their duties more seriously as lives of Nigerian citizens are important. He added that caution most be placed on the driver.
