Benue Information Ministry warns against social vices

The Benue state Commissioner for information, orientation, Culture and Tourism Hon. Mrs Ngunan Addingi,has maintained zero tolerance to social vices in the states.

She stated this while addressing participants at a programme organised by the Center for Gender Studies of Benue State University, Makurdi.

Speaking on the programme tagged: “Dissemination of findings on sexual and domestic violence research in Benue State”, the Honourable commissioner who doubled as the chairperson of the occasion praised the efforts of the organisers.

She lauded them for organising such a program which is aimed at educating the youths against social vices like Rape, drug abuse, and sexual harassment.

She urged the security agents present at the seminar to persecute offenders as a way to serve as detterant to others.

Present at the occasion were security chiefs and other education authorities.
