The Principal Senior Special Assistant to the Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue on Special Duties, Hon. Abrahams Kwaghngu, has restated the governor’s commitment to fighting crimes and insecurity in the state.

Abraham Kwaghngu said this when he received in courtesy visit Asase youths under the umbrella body of ASASE CENTRAL YOUTHS ASSOCIATION.

He stressed that the Ortom-led administration in the state has zero tolerance for crime of what ever form, calling on the youths to turn away from crime and engage in gainful ventures, which he promised to assist them to the best of his ability.

Hon. Kwaghngu appreciated them for remaining steadfast in their support for the Governor of Benue state and PDP as a party.

He further stated his worries over the recent security challenges faced in the community, adding that it was unimaginable how the community which was known to be a peaceful habitat for all has been engulfed with so many societal crimes.

On a heartwarming note, Hon. Kwaghngu promised to work relentlessly with the community and relevant authority to redeem the lost image of the community and engage the youths meaningfully so as to become fishers rather than consumers of fishes.

Responding on behalf of the group, Hon. Joseph Adi appreciated Hon. Kwaghngu for always carrying them along and making the security of the community his concern. The group through their spokesman requested for more presence of the Government in the community.
