Ortom, others discuss trans-border security in Yaounde

Deliberations intensified today at the 7th Session of the Cameroun -Nigeria Trans-Border Security Committee taking place at the Yaounde Conference Hall, Yaounde, Cameroun.
Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state and other members of the Nigerian delegation played active roles in addressing security issues on the countries’ borders.
The 7th Session of the Trans-Border Committee is seeking ways of strengthening security services of Cameroun and Nigeria in the fight against crime on the land and maritime borders.
Governors of Nigerian states such as Benue, Borno and Cross River which share boundaries with Camerounian states are attending the session jointly organised by governments of both countries.
