Zam promises good governance if elected governor

The immediate past head of the Benue State Bureau for Local Government, Titus Zam, today promised to ensure good and credible governance if he is given the opportunity to serve as the state governor in 2019.

Zam said this while seeking the permission of the Working Committee of the Benue APC in the seven local governments in Zone A to contest for the forthcoming governorship election.

He also promised to ensure that dividends of democracy are given to all Benue people if he is made governor next year.

The gubernatorial aspirant who further promised not to disappoint with governance if made the governor also apologized for whatever shortcomings that had been experienced while he served in his former office but assured them of due clarity on misinformed issues.

Giving their permission to the aspirant to contest for the 2019 governorship election, the All progressives Congress (APC) working committee of the seven (7) local governments in Zone A at the event which took place at Adikpo, headquarters of Kwande Local Government said that they now want one of their own to fly the flag of their party as 2019 election draws near.

In their separate remarks, the chairmen enjoined Chief Zam to leave no stone unturned in selling his candidature to the people, stating that in the game of sports, only good players who want to win prepare ahead.

Earlier, Chief Titus Zam also received the permission of the state working committee of the party under Comrade Abba Yaro to seek election.

According to them, the aspirant is a bona-fide member of the APC, and he is very qualified to contest for the 2019 governorship election under the party.
